Batman is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger , [1] [2] and first appeared in Detective Comics 27 in Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne , a wealthy American playboy , philanthropist , and owner of Wayne Enterprises. His origin depicts Bruce Wayne as a child, after witnessing the murder of his parents Dr. Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne , he swore vengeance against criminals, an oath tempered by a sense of justice.

It's a frequent occurrence when discussing the character of Batman for fans to talk about what makes him such an interesting and endearing hero, and at the forefront of that list sits the notion that he single-handedly tackles the unscrupulous denizens of Gotham despite the absence of even a single superpower. But is that really true? As one of the undisputed powerhouses of the DC Universe, Batman has taken on everyone from petty criminals to near-omnipotent God-like beings, and everything in between. So with all these overpowered villains bearing down on him, could he really have made it this far without any superpowers, let alone survive and beat all of these adversaries? Could he really take on and defeat fellow Justice Leaguers like Superman with nothing but his wits and fighting ability if he really had to? Terrific as a scientist, he has a recorded IQ of , putting him far beyond the threshold of a genius. After all, if the brain is a muscle, Batman has mental super strength.

Personal Data Collected

Because I hear a lot of people say he doesn't, but then I hear people say he can bench pounds and mastered martial arts. I personally thinks both of those are exaturrated but I hear alot of people say that. So what do u think.

Batman is one of the most interesting characters in comic book history. Batman is one step ahead of the bad guys in a world where men and women boast incredible, god-like abilities. The kind of abilities that can topple entire buildings, and in some cases Superman, Shazam, Black Adam, etc. Batman really has no special abilities of his own. No super powers. But, even with all that said, at the end of the day, he really is still just a guy…in the dark…dressed like a bat.

Although he is not the most powerful hero in the DC Universe, Batman is certainly the most dangerous. What he lacks in super powers, he makes up for in other areas. He has a vast fortune, access to highly advanced technology, various martial arts skills, and possesses a genius level intellect. However, this has not prevented him from risking his mind, body and soul to protect Gotham, and by extension the world, from evil. Although despite his skills and resources, Batman has faced several situations where being human was not enough.
