Duvall happens to be a former master Nascar machine builder, and Quaid has big plans for him. Quaid talks Duvall into getting back into the mix to watch a new driver he has in mind to join their unsponsored team. The driver, a very brash Cole Trickle, rolls in on a motorcycle wearing a leather trench coat for a practice drive.
