You have to do your homework before you go. When the venue is small and the exhibitions few, you might conclude that your time is better spent elsewhere. We often go to art to ''enjoy'' - but this particular expo was to challenge. Rebecca Belmore put together an exceptionally strong personal expression of crucial social issues in Canada - the loss and lack of care of indigenous women. This is what some art I was warned that none of the permanent collection was on diplay, but that I would enjoy the two artists that they were showing. This was not the case.
