Walt Disneys Alice in Wonderland Meets the White Rabbit by Jane Werner

Alice in Wonderland Meets the White Rabbit is a Little Golden Book adaptation (retold by Jane Werner Watson) of the Walt Disney animated movie Alice in Wonderland, which is, of course, an adaptation of Lewis Carrolls novels Alices Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There. Carrolls Alice novels are easily some of my favorites of all time, and I also have a fond appreciation of the animated Disney movie. This book is a very short and succinct summary of the movies events, and while much of the uproariously hilarious nonsense humor found in the original story is unfortunately missing from this adaptation, it successfully accomplishes what it likely seeks out to accomplish - summarizing the story for young and/or early readers. I especially appreciate the art (done by Walt Disney Studios itself), which jumps out from the pages with bright and vivid colors.

Embracing change and remaining open to possibilities are definitely qualities that help us appreciate and enjoy life. Sometimes it takes me a little time to adjust to a particular change, but that doesn't stop me. Your toilet paper analogy is pretty apt Beautifully written…I want to better embrace change, myself. Thanks for the reminder! Great post with lots of good stuff to think about.
