Dont Settle for Safe: Embracing the Uncomfortable to Become Unstoppable by Sarah Jakes RobertsPopular speaker and author Sarah Jakes Roberts shows women they are not disqualified by their pain and failures and offers encouragement and strength to believe God’s best is still possible.
Everyone has experiences in their lives that stop them in their tracks and become burdens they carry with them everywhere they go. No one knows this better than Sarah Jakes Roberts. Pregnant at fourteen, married by nineteen, divorced by twenty-two, and all while under the intense spotlight of being Bishop T.D. Jakes’s daughter, Sarah knows what it is to feel buried by failure and aching pain.
But when her journey brought her to faith’s fork in the road, Sarah found she had to choose between staying in the comfort of the pain she knew or daring to make new wounds and move forward. Now Sarah shares the numerous life lessons she’s learned along the way with other women also struggling to believe they’re not disqualified by their pain and past mistakes. She delves into topics such as allowing the past to empower the present, choosing to step forward while still being afraid, facing struggles surrounded by community, finding intimacy with God outside preconceived notions of what it has to look like, and learning to focus on others. With deeply personal stories of her own, Sarah helps readers find their way to the right perspective and the confidence to walk toward the best God has for them.

2 Corinthians 5:5-15
Scripture: Genesis Denomination: Assembly Of God. Introduction: How many of you have started for something big in life and ended up with something small? In the process you have compromised your life, compromised your calling and settled for something small. Now you may be content with what you have achieved whereas the promises of God were something high. This reminds me of the story where a fox being hungry was chasing down a hen. After about a mile a rabbit came on the way and the fox started chasing the rabbit.

Easy Bible Study - Genesis 16 - Never Settle For Less Than God's Promises - Daily Devotional Online
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. Have you ever settled for less? If so, how did it make you feel later? Typically we feel cheated, but at the same time, we know deep in our hearts that we expected to end up disappointed. Mainly because we knew we were settling for less. When we are desperate, we will settle for less.
What does the Bible say about? Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord , plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
