Especially since their father, Bishop T. Wilson, head of the largest African American church in Queens, New York was running for borough president. Throughout the book Dante struggles to get his mother to except his girlfriend as a new member of the family. And the Bishop and Charlene struggle to keep their family's personal life from the community for the sake of the election.

Bishop T. This is a must see movie for all Christians, especially those who struggle with worrying about what other persons think. It is a cautionary tale for Churches and Christians all over the globe. I honestly do not know where to start with this one, but one thing I know is the movie hit the nail on the head. This movie reminds us that:. I almost did not finish watching this movie. Only to see a facebook post from a very good friend saying this movie is a must watch.
