Goldilocks and the Three Bears by James Marshall

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Goldilocks, who was very interested in online reviewing. She was out in the woods one day, when, walking past a house picturesquely called Bear Cottage, she glanced through the window and happened to notice three books lying on the table. No one seemed to be around, so she opened the door and went in.

She looked at the first book, which was called Les 120 journées de Sodome ou lécole du libertinage, by the Marquis de Sade. Not only was it full of the most disgusting descriptions of sexual torture, it was in eighteenth century French! No, no, thought Goldilocks, this book is too hard.

She flicked through the next book, Princess Daisy, by Judith Krantz. Apart from a little rape, incest and lesbian action, there was hardly anything to interest a modern girl. No, no, thought Goldilocks, this book is too soft.

She picked up the third book, and found it was Fifty Shades of Grey, by E.L. James! Goldilocks had begged to be allowed to read mommyporn, but her mother, a rather strict woman, insisted that she would have to wait until she was ten. Evidently Mrs. Bear was more permissive. Goldilocks quickly posted negative reviews of the first two books on her iPad and settled down to enjoy her new acquisition. She was having such a good time that she didnt even hear the bears come home. Since they immediately went to their laptops, they didnt see her either. But after a moment, she heard an angry growl from Mr. Bear. Someones been off-topic on my book! he said with a slight French accent.

Mrs. Bear was not far behind. Smarting from the irrelevant insults that Goldilocks had heaped on her favorite writer, she joined her voice to her husbands. Someones been off-topic on my book! she complained bitterly.

Baby Bear looked around for her copy of Fifty Shades, eager to continue with the first bondage scene, but couldnt find it anywhere. Suddenly, looking behind the couch, she found Golilocks not only reading it but also posting flippant updates on Goodreads.

Someones been off-topic on my book, she yelped, and shes doing it right now!

Alors, said Mr. Bear in his French way. I think youll just have to close down her account.

THE END

Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Oxbridge Baby

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Goldilocks. Pretty soon, she came upon a house. She knocked and, when no one answered, she walked right in.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

The original version of the tale tells of a badly-behaved old woman who enters the forest home of three bachelor bears whilst they are away. She sits in their chairs, eats some of their porridge , and sleeps in one of their beds. When the bears return and discover her, she wakes up, jumps out of the window, and is never seen again. The second version replaced the old woman with a little girl named Goldilocks, and the third and by far most well-known version replaced the original bear trio with Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear. What was originally a frightening oral tale became a cozy family story with only a hint of menace. The story has elicited various interpretations and has been adapted to film, opera, and other media. In Robert Southey 's version of the tale, three anthropomorphic bears — "a little, small, wee bear, a middle-sized bear, and a great, huge bear" — live together in a house in the woods.

Fairy Tale Project. Goldilocks and the Three Bears: Summary There were three bears who lived in the woods. There was a big bear, medium bear, and a wee bear. One day when they left their house, a little girl named Goldilocks walked into their house. The bears had made porridge. Goldilocks tried the big bear's porridge but it was too hot; she then tried the medium bear's porridge but it was too cold. Then she tried the wee bear's porridge and it was just right, so she ate it all.

A little girl named Goldilocks, goes for a walk in the forest and comes upon a house where she enters and finds to her delight three bowls of porridge. The first one she tastes is too hot, the next too cold but the third one just right so she eats it all up. Goldilocks finds the three different size chairs where she tries them out and finds the first one too hard, the next too soft, and then the little one just right but it breaks when she sits in it. As she wonders in the home she finds three beds and tries them out. The first bed is too hard, the next too soft but the third is just right and she curls up and falls asleep. Meanwhile the owners come home who happen to be three bears, Papa, Mama and little baby bear. Much to their surprise they discover the outcome of what Goldilocks has done to their porridge, chairs and finally their beds.

A blonde-haired juvenile delinquent breaks into an ursine family home and proceeds to indulge her penchant for fussy eating and fidgetiness around furniture. And yet, pretty much every detail of the above summary is a later addition to the original story, which was very different. Instead, the young girl was an old woman, with silver rather than golden hair.

Once upon a time there were three bears who lived in a house in the forest. Therewas a great big father bear, a middle-sized mother bear and a tiny baby bear. One morning, their breakfast porridge was too hot to eat, so they decided to go for a walk in the forest. While they were out, a little girl called Goldilocks came through the trees and found their house. She knocked on the door and, as there was no answer, she pushed it open and went inside.
