This one requires a bit of a story. Back when I was in college in Milwaukee, I once attended a student journalism conference in Eau Claire, in western Wisconsin. The thing I remember vividly is getting into something of a wrangle with guest speaker, Brit Hume, who then was working for columnist Jack Anderson, if I recall correctly. I thought he was being a condescending dick. He did not agree with that measured assessment, and we were off. But the other thing I remember was being introduced to the lager beer produced by the Jacob Leinenkugel company of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. I recall thinking it was a little more substantial than Coors, and liking it a great deal.
