During this session we were looking at what the new national curriculum looked like for key stage one pupils and how us at trainee teachers can go about teaching this new computer programming subject. We were introduced to a number of different programs and software to use within key stage one. Beebot is a small robot devises which require you to put in simple instructions to get the robot to move. To get these to work to their best advantage we discussed how you would use this plugin actively using the technology with a task that links this to the curriculum not using technology. We came up with some good cross curricular ideas, such as using the beebot on a number square to get the children thinking of number.
