Part 1 Anne of Avonlea Audiobook by Lucy Maud Montgomery
ANNE OF GREEN GABLES
Rachel Lynde Is Properly Horrified. A Concert a Catastrophe and a Confession. Anne Comes to Grief in an Affair of Honor. Matthew Insists on Puffed Sleeves. Rachel was sitting at her window, keeping a sharp eye on everything that passed, from brooks and children up, and that if she noticed anything odd or out of place she would never rest until she had ferreted out the whys and wherefores thereof.
She taught me things I still think about every day. Matthew and his sister Marilla decide to get an orphan boy to help out on their farm and are miffed when, due to a mix-up, Anne arrives instead.

Following Anne of Green Gables , the book covers the second chapter in the life of Anne Shirley. This book follows Anne from the age of 16 to 18, during the two years that she teaches at Avonlea school. It includes many of the characters from Anne of Green Gables , as well as new ones like Mr. The book's title is fitting, as Anne is no longer simply "of Green Gables" as she was in the previous book, but now takes her place among the "important" people and the "grown up" people of Avonlea society, as its only schoolteacher. She is also a founding member of the A. Montgomery had brought up with a traditional Scots Presbyterian education. Anne is about to start her first term teaching at the Avonlea school, although she will still continue her studies at home with Gilbert, who is teaching at the nearby White Sands School.
